Cake Picnic is a viral, international event built on one simple rule: no cake, no entry. Guests bring a whole cake to share and sample slices from hundreds of others. Since its launch, the event has exploded—drawing a record 2,068 cakes at a single San Francisco gathering, selling out in under a minute with over 21,000 people attempting to attend, and growing its Instagram following from 20,000 to 100,000+ in a single day.
